UW Receives Computational Sciences Designation

The University of Wyoming has been tabbed for select company: membership in the Coalition for Academic Scientific Computation (CASC). The affiliation will enable UW to form research partnerships with other universities, pursue federal research funding and even potentially be tapped as a computational sciences resource expert by President Obama and/or Congress.

UW Trustees Approve Facility Site for Planned Gateway Center

The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees today approved a 2.4-acre site on Grand Avenue in Laramie for a proposed facility that will provide a distinctive entry point to the university.

The UW Foundation, Alumni Association, Career Services and Admissions office are working jointly on the plan for a proposed UW Gateway Center.

New UW Building Raises the Bar for Arts in Wyoming

The Visual Arts Building is the latest in a series of capital facilities projects at UW to improve instruction, learning and research opportunities for students and faculty. The 79,000-square foot facility provides expanded teaching studios and spaces for art history, ceramics, drawing, foundations of art, graphics, painting, printmaking, sculpture and small metals.
