The vision of the School of Energy Resources is to ensure that Wyoming fulfills its promise to be a global leader in building a secure and sustainable energy future. SER promotes the development of the human resources and know-how required to solve critical energy challenges faced by society.  We strengthen the significant talent and resources at the University of Wyoming and promote interdisciplinary academic, research, and outreach programs in engineering, science, economics, and environmental policy to achieve our vision.

UW Education Helps Pioneering Student Land Job in Energy Industry
May 9, 2013 — Carla Moss was a student in an energy exploration class at Riverton High School in 2009 when she heard a presentation about a new degree program at the University of Wyoming by UW School of Energy Resources Director Mark Northam and Deputy Director of Energy Outreach Mary Byrnes.  Read more
