Transcript Ordering Information
Current Students may order transcripts online via WyoWeb:
Under WyoRecords, click on the Students link.
On the WyoRecords page, click on the Student Records tab.
Click the Transcripts tab, which includes both your unofficial transcript and the request for the official transcript.
Click the Request Official Transcript link at the bottom to request that an official transcript be issued. Please allow 2-3 business days for processing.
To view an unofficial transcript, click on the Academic Transcript link.
Previous Students, Alumni (with attendance fall 1987 or later) may order transcripts online via WyoWeb:
If you have never logged into WyoRecords:
On the WyoWeb landing page, you will find the Obtain Username and Initial Password link towards the top of the screen to the right.
- Click on that link to open a new window.
- Enter your last name, date of birth, and the last four digits of
your social security number; press submit. You will immediately be
assigned a user name and password.
If you have logged into WyoRecords in the past, you will need to call
the UW IT Help Desk at 766-4357 to get your password reset.
Return to the WyoWeb landing page.
- Click on the Students link under WyoRecords.
- Log in using the user name and password that were just assigned to you.
- On the WyoRecords page, click on Student Records tab.
- Click the Transcripts tab.
- Click the Request Official Transcript link at the bottom to request that an official transcript be issued. Please allow 2-3 business days for processing.
- To view an unofficial transcript, click on the Academic Transcript link.
To order a transcript via fax, mail, or e-mail
(Necessary for students in attendance prior to fall 1987). We must have a signed request
indicating both your personal address and the address where you would
like the transcript sent. To speed processing of your transcript, please
include your social security number or “W” ID number, birth date and
date of your last enrollment at UW on the request. The completed, signed
request may be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to our office. Contact
information may be found on the request form and below. Please allow 2-3
business days for processing once the request is received by our
There is a $10.00 charge for same-day transcript service. Same day
service is available between 10 am and 4 pm, for pick-up only. Same day
service is not available for mailed transcripts.
We accept faxed requests at (307) 766-3960. Please include your

If you have an outstanding debt with the university, we cannot issue a
transcript. If you believe you might have an outstanding debt, please
contact the Office of Accounts Receivable at (307) 766-6232.
Online Enrollment Verifications, including pre-registration are
available through the National Student Clearinghouse via WyoWeb. Simply
go to WyoWeb and log in via the Students link under WyoRecords. Click on the Student Records tab, and then click on Request Enrollment Verification. You will be redirected to the National Student Clearinghouse web page. Follow the steps to generate a printable certificate.
To request a verification via fax or mail, please fill out the Enrollment Verification form
completely before faxing or mailing it to our office. Verifications are
generally mailed within one week of receiving the request at no charge.
There is a $10.00 charge for enrollment verifications faxed from our
office. Payment may be made in person or by mailing a check to the
Office of the Registrar.
